The short version
We built Pomodrama so we wouldn’t have your data — and we mean it. Pomodrama uses Apple’s iCloud (CloudKit) to store and sync your sessions, tasks, and settings. That information lives in your iCloud account, encrypted, and we can’t read it. There’s no analytics SDK, no tracking pixels, no advertising network, and no account to sign up for. Who we are

What information is involved, and where it lives
Your app content (sessions, tasks, projects, labels, achievements, settings). This is created by you inside the app and stored in your own iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit. It syncs between your devices through Apple’s infrastructure. We do not host it on any server of our own, and we have no technical means to access, read, or retrieve it. If you turn off iCloud sync, this content stays only on your device.
Purchases and subscriptions. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We never see or receive your card number or billing details. Apple provides us with aggregated, anonymised sales and subscription reports (for example, how many monthly plans were sold in a region). These reports do not identify you.
Diagnostics and crash reports. If — and only if — you have enabled sharing of diagnostics with developers in your device’s system settings, Apple may share aggregated, anonymised crash and performance data with us. We do not use any third-party crash-reporting or analytics tools. You can turn this off at any time in your system settings.
If you contact us. When you email our support address, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write. We use this only to answer you and to improve the app, and we keep it no longer than needed for that purpose.
Our website. Our website does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may keep standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and reliability, as is normal for any website.
What we never do
We don’t use advertising networks. We don’t use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. We don’t build profiles of you. We don’t sell, rent, or share your personal data with anyone for their own purposes. Pomodrama has no user account system — your identity, as far as your data is concerned, is your Apple ID, which we never see.
Legal bases for processing (GDPR)
Where we process limited personal data, we rely on: performance of our agreement with you (to provide the app and respond to support); your consent (for any optional diagnostics you enable at the system level); and our legitimate interest in keeping the app and website secure and working.
How long we keep things
We keep support emails only as long as needed to handle your request and a reasonable period afterwards. Aggregated, anonymised sales and diagnostics data is retained per Apple’s policies. Your app content is kept in your iCloud account for as long as you keep it there — it is under your control, not ours.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Because your app content lives in your own iCloud account, you can already exercise most of these rights directly: delete data inside the app, or manage it through your Apple ID and iCloud settings. For anything we hold (such as support emails), contact us at [support@pomodrama.app] and we’ll respond within the timeframe the law requires.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in the Czech Republic, the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), or your local authority within the EU.
International transfers
Your app content is stored and synced through Apple’s iCloud infrastructure, which may process data in data centres outside your country. These transfers are governed by Apple’s own terms and safeguards. See Apple’s Privacy Policy for details.
Children
Pomodrama is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will address it.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we’ll change the “Last updated” date above and, for significant changes, note it on this page. Continued use of the app or website after an update means you accept the revised policy.
